Thursday

Hi friends! We have some issues today! Raymond has an upset tummy and hasn't wanted to eat since Wednesday morning. Mom made him some boiled chicken and broth, and he perked up a bit. He may need a visit from the vet. We'll keep you posted.

In other news, we had a power outage just as Mom was turning on our computer and now the computer won't start at all. Mom will take it to the Apple store on Saturday. She is NOT happy.

Please keep a good thought for my brother Raymond. XO, Busby

Semi wordless Wednesday

Good news! Mom trapped the tuxie kitten Monday night along with a gray one that she was also having trouble catching! They both went for their spay/neuter on Tuesday. Hurray! Now she just needs to trap the Mom cat and the Tom cat. Sounds like a trip to Kentucky Fried Chicken may be in Mom's future, as that was the suggestion we got on our bloggie yesterday. Thanks cats! xoxo, Busby

Tuxie Tuesday

Hello friends! We have a guest on our blog today. This tuxie girl (or mancat?) is a feral cat that lives by our Grandma's house. There was a litter of kittens born in the alley behind Grandma's a few months ago. Our Non-blog Mom has been trapping the kittens and having them spayed and neutered. They are not very social but some of them are less feral than others. This saucy tuxie is staring into Grandma's front door waiting for our Non-blog Mom to feed them some stinky goodness.

The Momcat has not been trapped yet, she is pretty smart. Mom is working hard to trap her (and the Tomcat too). This tuxie hasn't been trapped yet either. Do any of you other cat bloggers have any suggestions for delicious foods (other than stinky goodness canned food) to bait the live trap with?

We sure don't understand why people don't spay and neuter their pets. Duh.

Have a great Tuxie Tuesday, xoxo, Raymond and Busby

Mancats on Monday

Hello friends! What a great weekend! Both of our Moms had extra days off for the holiday, so we had a lot of lap time this weekend. Our human Niece came to visit too. It was quite a weekend!

We're taking it easy today, while our Moms both had to go back to work. Hope you are enjoying your Monday too!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving friends! We have so much to be thankful for. We're thankful for our fun toys! (this is bacon stuffed with organic catnip from Oh Boy Cat Toy!)

We're thankful for the beautiful place we live here on the Central Coast of California.

We're thankful we have a forever home and Moms who love us very much!

And we are thankful that our Mom was rescued by Pacific Siamese Rescue and we were born in a great foster home and adopted together!

We're also thankful for all of our friends on the catblogosphere. You are wonderful friends! We love the cat blogger community.

Your Tuesday Tonkinese

Okay, now what did Raymond do with that tv remote? I want to watch "Top Chef".

Hello friends! Ray isn't the only one who likes to share the recliner with our Non-blog Mom.

Have a happy Tuesday friends! xoxo, Busby

Mancat Monday

Now if only they would give me the remote control so I could turn on Animal Planet...

Hope you are all having a manly Monday at your house. Our Moms both have short work weeks due to the Thanksgiving holiday. That means more lap time (or is it leg time?) here in the puss-print recliner. YAY!

Have a good Monday friends! xoxo, Raymond

Frootbat Friday

Sometimes you just have to chill with your brother, even if his ears aren't the least little bit frootbatty.

Have a great weekend friends! xoxo, Raymond and Busby

Thursday stroll

Hello friends! Happy Thursday! Busby has been hogging the blog (and the pillows and nap spots around here) all week! Not much garden to show off but a short tour of our neighborhood for you today.

The trees are in all their fine Fall foliage this time of year. This is a Ginko tree, not far from our house. See how blue the sky is? The weather has been very nice, although we are supposed to have a cold rain this weekend.

Our Bird TV is great this time of year! Our feeders are hopping with all different birdies. This guy seems to be taking a break. Maybe he is resting before flying south for the Winter?

November is when we have our most beautiful sunsets here in Capitola. There is no fog this time of year and the sky is full of color at sundown. This is the view from our front porch.

Thanks for strolling with us today friends! Mom is crazy busy and we don't have a lot of time to comment lately, but we will keep pestering her about it.

TWOS-day Tonkinese

Hi friends! It was chilly here this morning, so it was nice to have Raymond to snuggle with. How's the weather at your house?

Mancat Monday

Hello friends! I thought you might enjoy a look at my floofy underside to start your week!

Our blog-mom is trying some weird Blogger app to post this, so we have no idea what it will look like.

Happy Monday friends! xoxo, Busby

Frootbat Friday

Hello friends! Sometimes when conditions are just right, I like to relax on my Non-blog Mom's legs. Conditions are perfect when she is wearing her flannel pajamas!

Have a great weekend friends! I hope conditions are perfect at your house this weekend for some serious relaxation!

Thursday stroll

Hello friends! I was just bunny-kicking Mom's leg. Can you see the look in my eyes? That's my bunny-kick look. No garden shots today, as the garden is pretty much done for the season. There are a few very hardy Zinnias left, and we also just planted some Fava beans. We'll see if any come up after Mr Squirrel went on a digging fest and ate a bunch of them.

Today's photos come from Felton, CA which is the small town our blog Mom works in. It's about 15 miles northeast of our house, up in the Santa Cruz Mountains. There was blue sky there yesterday. Now a storm is heading this way, so the sky is not so blue today.

We thought you might like to see how "Autumn-y" it looks here. Some people think we don't have seasons here in California but we do!

Have a pawsome Thursday friends! We hope you are having lovely Autumn weather where you are. (or Spring, if you are in the Southern Hemisphere!) xoxo, Busby

Your Tuesday Tonkinese

Hello friends! Happy Tuesday! I thought you might like this photo of me with particularly blue eyes. They don't call me Bluey Blueington for nothing! (one of my many nicknames!)

Hope you are all having a good week. We have been keeping an eye on our bird feeders lately. So many birds this time of year! We love it.

Blog Blast for Peace 2011!

We are so excited to participate in Blog Blast for Peace 2011! Our peace globe is a photo of Seabright State Beach here in Santa Cruz, CA. Someone had made a peace sign on the sand out of kelp. We love it!

Gandhi said: "Be the change you want to see in the world." We hope someday everyone will live in peace and harmony.

A Little Bit Wordy Wednesday

Hello friends! Just wanted to give you an update about what's going on around here. Mom's surgery has been postponed because she has developed a nasty gut infection called C-Diff, which was caused by the antibiotics the doctor gave her back in July. It's a long (and GROSS) story. She has now had three bouts of this stuff. It's hard to get rid of.

We will be very sporadic with our posting for a while, maybe for a couple months. Surgery will be either in November or December, it all hinges on how soon Mom can finally get rid of the gut bug she has. Don't worry, we are taking good care of her (see how I am looking deeply and meaningfully into her eyes?).

Meanwhile, Happy November! xoxo, Busby
