Mancat Monday

Hello friends! This is how I intend to spend next week, because our Non-blog Mom has a one week furlough between Christmas and New Year's. She works for the County of Santa Cruz, and the county doesn't have much money. To save money they close down one day a month and the workers have an unpaid day off. To save MORE money they close for a whole week this time of year and the employees have a whole week without pay.

It works out pretty good because our Non-blog Mom will be able to stay home and take care of our Blog-Mom next week, because our Blog-Mom has surgery this Friday. (and I will be able to flop in her lap all week long!) See! Everybody wins! (well, especially ME!)

Happy Monday friends! xoxo, Raymond

  3. Hmm, our mom has the week between Christmas and New Year's off, but it's part of her salary, as it is for all staff (and faculty) at her university. So we guess she's pretty lucky!

Purrs to your Blog Mom for her surgery and recovery.

And we wish you all a wonderful holiday!
