Hello friends! Are you ready to stroll in our garden? We are highlighting our flowers today, so let's get started!
Here's our Hydrangea bush. Like all of our flowers this season, it is slow to bloom but it is finally starting to show some color.
Our sweet peas are coming along nicely, probably because they like the cool temperatures we have been having. We wish you could SMELL them through your computer monitor because they are very fragrant and lovely.
Our Hibiscus is doing well this year after it was attacked by aphids last year. Mom moved it to a different spot on our porch and it likes the new spot very much!
Our Rose Geranium is looking good. Mom is not a big Geranium fan but she likes this one because it smells like roses and needs very little upkeep.
This is Valerian, which is also called Neptune's Beard. It grows like a weed here and volunteers all over our yard. We like it because it attracts butterflies. Mom has not yet tried to dry the roots, which is the part of the plant that cats (like us!) love.
Here is our "Hot Lips" Salvia. It's another plant that the butterflies and hummingbirds love. It's doing very well this year. Mom fed it with fish emulsion. Boy, she sure did smell yummy when she came back in the house that day!
We hope you enjoyed our garden stroll today friends! Don't forget to visit all the other Feline Gardeners today.
xoxo, Raymond
