Hello friends! Welcome to our Thursday Garden Stroll! The garden is starting to slow down since the days are shorter and the nights are cooler here in Capitola. Pretty soon it will be time for Mom to clean things up and put the garden to bed for the Winter. Meanwhile, here's what's happening today:
| The ONE fig that we have on our Fig tree (it's more like a Fig Twig) has gotten bigger but it's no where near to being ripe. Will it ever ripen? Stay tuned... |
This flower bloomed this week, and we have NO idea what it is. (Next year Mom won't throw away the empty seed packets, duhr.) We thought it was going to be a Sunflower, and it is the only flower on the whole plant.
It's pretty big, like Tulip-sized. Any ideas? |
| The Cosmos are pretty much the best thing going in our garden right now. This is what they look like through the bedroom window. |
| As you can see, they are thriving! |
| This color is our favorite. (um, Mom, time to clean the birdbath!) |
| The Japanese Maple has Spider Mites! Mom needs to get some dish soap and dilute it so she can spray the Maple tree. They are tiny little bugs but very destructive. |

Thanks for doing the stroll with us today friends! Don't forget to visit the other Feline Gardeners today.
