A Most Unusual Day

Yesterday was not what we had planned. I had to make an unscheduled trip to the VET! I made eight visits to the cat box in about thirty minutes yesterday morning. That's not good. My Moms made a call to our Vet. Dr Good rearranged her schedule so she could see us right away. Here I am ready to go. Can you see my HUGE SCARDY eyes? (these photos aren't the best. Mom was preoccupied) Our Vet has a mobile clinic. She usually comes to our house. Yesterday we drove about a mile and met her before she saw one of her scheduled patients. This is the logo on the side of her big shiny mobile clinic. I think MY picture should be on the side of her clinic.

Here's Doctor Good and my (non-blogging) Mom. This Mom is a nurse for people, so she likes to assist our Vet. There was a Vet Tech on board too, but she was busy calling people and rearranging Dr. Good's busy Friday schedule. You can't see me, I am on the examining table having UNSPEAKABLE things done to me.

Good news! No blockage! But I had blood drawn and I gave a urine sample. I got a shot of Baytril and some pills to take for the next ten days. Dr. Good suspects I have a UTI. Notice how I am holding my tail firmly against my, um, rear end? Too late, she had all ready taken my temperature.

I am home and taking it EASY the rest of the weekend. Sorry we didn't get to visit any bloggies yesterday. Raymond dropped by Gracie's birthday party but that was all the visiting we could do.
Raymond wants me to tell everyone that he has his eye on the Indianapolis Colts today and he is rooting for them! THANKS again to everyone who heard about my Vet trip at Gracie's party or on facebook yesterday and sent purrs and good vibes. And a big thank you to our GREAT Vet, Dr. Hannah Good!
xoxo, Busby

  6. We are glad for you that there is no blockage, because we have had experience with what that can mean for a couple of cats in our family. Be good and take your antibiotics and drink lots of water. Get better quickly!

That is a great thing, having a mobile vet. I don't think we have any like that where I live. Does she have a pet hopsital location too if you hafta stay overnight?

Just owr opinion since owr Mom went frew dat uti fing wif her male cats from before. Dat's why we eats raw food an instinct canned stinky goodness. So far so good.
