Jeez! Somecats are so BIG that they can't just nap on the foot stool, they have to overlap onto the couch too.

HEY! Busby! Can't you see I am all ready napping in this sunny spot?

I think Busby needs one of those "Wide Load" signs for this rear end! MOL!

Caturday

Ah, sweet Caturday.

Nothing like a nice Caturday stretch. Fresh cat grass from the Farmer's Market. Hummingbirds to watch at the bird feeder. The Moms both off work and catering to my every whim. Life is good!

Happy Caturday friends. We are going to be taking weekends off for the Summer. Our blogMom works all week, so she needs time to snorgle our bellies and play in the garden on the weekend. We'll see you on Monday, have a pawsome weekend!

Thursday Garden Stroll

Hello friends! Are you ready to stroll in our garden? We are highlighting our flowers today, so let's get started!

Here's our Hydrangea bush. Like all of our flowers this season, it is slow to bloom but it is finally starting to show some color.

Our sweet peas are coming along nicely, probably because they like the cool temperatures we have been having. We wish you could SMELL them through your computer monitor because they are very fragrant and lovely.

Our Hibiscus is doing well this year after it was attacked by aphids last year. Mom moved it to a different spot on our porch and it likes the new spot very much!

Our Rose Geranium is looking good. Mom is not a big Geranium fan but she likes this one because it smells like roses and needs very little upkeep.

This is Valerian, which is also called Neptune's Beard. It grows like a weed here and volunteers all over our yard. We like it because it attracts butterflies. Mom has not yet tried to dry the roots, which is the part of the plant that cats (like us!) love.

Here is our "Hot Lips" Salvia. It's another plant that the butterflies and hummingbirds love. It's doing very well this year. Mom fed it with fish emulsion. Boy, she sure did smell yummy when she came back in the house that day!

We hope you enjoyed our garden stroll today friends! Don't forget to visit all the other Feline Gardeners today.

Mancat Monday

I see you squirrel!

Hello friends! I hope you are having a pleasant Monday. The squirrel has been digging in our container plants all weekend long. We're not sure if he is digging up things he buried last Fall or burying things for this coming Winter. If we catch him, we will ask him!

Thursday Garden Stroll

Hello friends! Thanks for joining me on the Thursday garden stroll today. We have a lot to show you today, so let's go!

The veggies in our raised beds have started to take off! Here is our Lacinato Kale.

In the raised bed next to the Kale, we are growing Baby Babette Carrots. They are a small variety, the only grow about 4-6" long. (we need to get another row planted soon!) Our weather has finally warmed up and the veggies are very happy.

Our Super Bush tomato is doing great too. We have three tomato plants, two of these Super Bush and one Garden Candy. We will hopefully have plenty of tomatoes this year. Last year it was too foggy all Summer for our tomatoes to do anything.

In a container on our porch we are growing Bush Slicer Cucumbers. This is our first attempt at cukes. We've grown Lemon Cucumbers before but never the green kind. Our Non-blog Mom likes to make pickles, so we are excited to grow these.

Our final stop on today's stroll is our Little Prince Eggplant. It has beautiful leaves. We hope it gets a lot of flowers that turn into a lot of eggplants.

Thanks for joining us today! Don't forget to visit the other Feline Gardeners. Check out our friend Jonesie and follow the links to other gardeners at the bottom of her post.

Happy Thursday friends! xoxo, Raymond

Did someone say "Easy Sunday"?

We're enjoying a sun shiney day here by Monterey Bay. Thanks to everyone who wished our OLD blogMom a happy birthday yesterday. She's so OLD that we are 12 minutes late posted this evening. We may need to replace her soon!

Thursday Garden Stroll

Hello friends! Welcome to the Thursday Garden stroll. We have a lot of activity in the garden this week, the weather has finally turned more seasonal here. Let's get going!

The flower bed is coming along. We had two inches of rain last Saturday (very unusual for California in June) and it helped nudge the flowers along. We planted Zinnias, Cosmos, Poppies and Morning Glories in this bed.

Look! In this close up you can see that the Cosmos are starting to actually LOOK like Cosmos!

Our "Hot Lips" Salvia is doing well too. The hummingbirds love this flower and we love to watch the hummingbirds. It's a "win win" situation.

We had to show you our Catnip. We have it in a hanging basket and it's a good thing because we get introoder cats in our yard all the time.

Did you notice the rose at the bottom of the catnip photo? Here is a close up of it. There were two rose bushes in our yard when we moved in. Mom has maintained them, even though they are not planted in very good spots for roses. This one is SO fragrant.

Thanks for strolling with us friends! Have a pawsome Thursday!
xoxo, Raymond

MOMcat Monday

Hi friends! Over the weekend our Moms moved our Grandma into a new apartment. It's much closer to our house and there are fewer other residents so our Grandma can get more care. What ELSE is at the new apartment?  KITTENS!

Our Moms reported to us that these kittens are eating solid food and ALSO hanging out at their Mom's milk bar. We think this is a sign of VERY intelligent kittens!

Mom is very pretty too. We love Calico girls!

Happy Monday friends! xoxo, Raymond and Busby
