I made some muffins on the bag of stuffing to make sure it was good quality.

Here is MY mousie a little closer up. It's got CATNIP and a bell inside of it too! We can't remember which of our blogosphere friends was talking about wet-felting the other day, but I hope they see this post.
We don't have any action shots of me with MY mousie yet, but I have been playing with it quite a bit. (So has Raymond. He doesn't realize that it's MY mousie.)

ReplyDeleteYour mom is very clever to be able to make a catnip mousie for you, we're impressed. Our mom once bought a baby sock, stuffed catnip in the toe and tied a knot in the sock. That's as creative as she gets. Now, I ask you, how can we be expected to survive with someone so lacking in talent? Maybe your mom wants three more Cats?

JC, wet felting (or just plain felting) is a process where you knit or crochet something and then you use water and friction to make all the fibers interlock and get tighter. You can either do it by hand in the sink (which seems to take forever) or you can use your washing machine. Sounds kinda boring, huh? (hee hee)
