Mancat MUNCHday

Hello friends! Some of you may know that we eat a raw food diet. Our Mom makes our food each week. She uses a recipe from Dr Pitcairn's book-"The Complete Guide to Natural Health for Dogs and Cats".

Our Mom has been trying to find treats for us that aren't cooked.

Recently, Our CURLY friend Daisy mentioned in her blog that she and Harley like Grandma Lucy's Freeze Dried Chicken Livers. On Daisy's suggestion, we hightailed it over to NIP and BONES and ordered some! Can you believe this was the first time we ever met Baby Patches?

Our Grandma Lucy treats arrived very quickly and we LOVE them! We are going to need WAY more of these!

We clean up every last crumb from these treats! They are so good! They are made in the USA. All of the raw treats we have seen in local stores are from China, and we are scared to eat food from China ever since the big cat food recall.

Thanks Daisy for recommending these treats, and thanks to Baby Patches and his Mom for shipping them to us so fast! Have a delicious Monday everyone! xoxo, Busby & Raymond

  2. Can you tell us a bit more about what you eat on a daily basis? We are very interested because it looks like the terrible problems that Yuu-Chan and Bibi-Chan had last wee may have come from eating raw food.

  3. Hey! That first picture is your bottom. Hmmm...

Those look like yummers treats for sure. I am jelly of your raw diet. I get raw meaty bones for recreational chewing, but eat mostly kibbles on a day to day.

  8. I am so happy you like them, too! We had some other freeze-dried chicken livers that came in cube shapes, so they were obviously processed somehow. The Grandma Lucy's livers are clearly shaped just like livers, so I think they are much, much better. We love to have the crumbs at the bottom sprinkled on our foods!

We need Canadian distributors of some of the great things we see via the CB! :-)

  16. Oh, those look WAY yummy! I am a very picky eater, and my human is having a hard time switching me to healthier food. She would not have a hard time at all if she just gave me freeze dried raw duck hearts and chicken livers instead of regular cat food. I don't need a balanced diet - I balance just fine!
