We have a bird feeder and it has surprised us with a few sunflowers that are popping up all over the garden. There are three or four of them that have suddenly appeared! It's kind of exciting because we don't know what they will look like.
Here's non-blogging Mom's pride and joy, her rhubarb! She started it from tiny shoots and now t is growing bigger each day. Soon she will transplant it into the ground. It takes two years before you can actually eat it. Mom LOVES to eat rhubarb and makes delicious pies and jams with it.
We have a garden pig, a garden frog and some garden quail and here is our garden CAT. As you can see, she is a CALICO girl. (We love Calicos!)
We'll end today's tour with a shot of our marigolds. Not only are they pretty, but they discourage certain garden pests. We never use pesticides in our garden.
Please remember to visit the other Feline Gardeners today! Have a purrific Thursday!
OH! And don't forget that today is the last day to enter our Haiku Contest! The cut off for entries is 8pm Pacific time tonight! xoxo, Raymond
