Easy Like Sunday Morning
Hello friends! NFL Football season begins today (well, it began on Thursday, but today it REALLY begins). It's going to be noisy here at our house every Sunday until they play that STUPOR bowl game in January or February or whenever it is. We don't care much for football season because Mom's lap isn't very comfortable when she is watching football. Too twitchy!

I am lucky - the humans here do not like watching sports. But then, I am not a good lapcat anyhow - I am apparently too "squirmy." Maybe you can come over here and visit one of these Sundays!

I know what you mean about football, but in many ways dad only sometimes watches, but todays game with the 49ers against Seattle is one not to be missed as it is 'pay-back time'.
Hope mum gives you a break and is not too twitchy.

ReplyDeleteThere's an uneasy situation around here regarding football. Dad likes to watch, and Mom doesn't too much, and Mom also thinks of all the other "more important" things Dad could be doing with his time. I don't do laps, but I DO like the deck, and when Dad watches tv he can't be on the deck with me. But Mom also understands the excitement of the beginning of the season.

Hope there is nothing too exciting happening in football. I mean, if that happens your mom could jump up suddenly and you'd find yourself out of a lap!

Mum did some watching, then watched the Packer game at Grampies place. So her jumpy game was not around us.
