  6. Mmmm, treats!

    I'm glad you saw Tammy Faye on our altar! My mom had planned on being Tam for Halloween and realized all she knew about her was whatever she saw on TV ages ago, which wasn't quite right. So she read two of her books just before and they changed everything. Needless to say she wanted to honor Tammy Faye instead of make fun of her, and really she should have just answered yes to a colleague's question, 'Who are you supposed to be, Rod Stewart?' Her costume was a bust but that was OK. She knows much better now.

    Thanks for letting me tell you this. Don't tell my mom, though!

    #1 was telling her hosts in Chicago, Mr. P and Mr. S about you, Busby. They had for many years a much-loved Tonkinese who has now gone to the Bridge. They are now catless but they swear their next kitty wil be another Tonkinese!
