Hey Mom, we're freezing here! How about making a fire in the fireplace or turning on the furnace or something?!
We realize 50 degrees and rain may seem warm to some of you this time of year, but we are California kitties and this feels cold to us.
Did you know today is the Winter Solstice? After today the days start getting longer again! Yippee!
Brrr! Stay warm and have a good Tuesday friends.
xoxo, Raymond and Busby
You boys better look outside tonight - there is a Lunar eclipse too! Extra special!
ReplyDeleteYou guys need a heated blankie for xmas!!
ReplyDelete" the days start getting longer " Do it mean " longer nap " ?
ReplyDeleteWe are excited for winter here in canada! LAtely its been raining and blah tho, and we hear that we are getting a green christmas!! AHH Not good over here!
ReplyDeleteIt's warm here. Sort of.
ReplyDeleteIf 50 degrees were so warm, then our heating up thermostat wouldn't be set at 65. Try to get that fire going, you poor things.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
You're right, 50 degrees sounds downright balmy to us! Right now it's warmer than it has been recently and it is 22 with a windchill of 14!
ReplyDeleteYay for more sunbeams!
We'd take 50 degrees right now!! But our mom said that California is gettng some wicked weather lately with lots of rain...and LOTS snow in the mountains!! Stay safe, boys!!
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here in Florida too. We've been doing a lot of snuggling. Stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThe Florida Furkids and Angel Sniffie
We hope your moms turn on the heat or the fireplace, guys! Sure, the weather there would be warm to us, but it's all relative, all what you're used to.
ReplyDeleteAnd oh yes, the mom knows it's the Solstice. She's been counting down the days for ages now, and is thrilled at the return of the Light, starting tomorrow. Yippee!
If the moms won't turn on the fireplace, maybe everyone can teleport over to your place and we'll have a snugglepile! Yeah! Let's see how many kitties we can pile on!
ReplyDeletestay all warm and cozy! It is going to be a BALMY 31 here today in Michigan! That feels like a heat wave for us!
ReplyDeletexoxo
You two keep snuggly warm. We are southern kitties, but we would take some 50s about now!
ReplyDeleteWe are so relieved that the days will be geeting longer ~ 'cos that means MORE time to nap!
ReplyDeleteWe're all for the longer days and sun but our mom says rats! she likes the short days! Stay warm! While we aren't snuggling with each other, we sure are hunkered down.
ReplyDeletePip, Smidgen, Minnie, and Hollie
I like the longer days, but that means hot weather here before we know it. I like the cooler temps, but would prefer more sunshine :)
ReplyDeleteThis cold weather is plain awful. Mommy woke up with SEVEN Cats on the bed this morning...we were cold and she was HOT! heh heh.
ReplyDeleteHey, Bus and Ray.....we would love to change places with you.....We have way too much heat and HUMIDITY here........it's going to be 83 and very, very humid here today.
ReplyDeleteWe're really looking forward to Friday when it's supposed to get into the middle 60's, which also means this terrible humidity will be gone....and if the forecast doesn't change we will have what we consider a cold Christmas in the mid 50's.......no snow again this year for Christmas, but we will be loving the colder weather, cuz we love to snuggle!!!!!!
We luvsya fellas and your moms.....and we purr that you have the most wonderful holiday season.
LOL! Yes you California kitties are soft (just teasing). Keep snuggling together boys and keep each other warm...I like how your ears are touching :-)
ReplyDeleteHeh. If the days start getting longer, I would like to have some sun to go along with it - enough of this rain!
ReplyDeleteOh man, 50 degrees sounds great to us!
ReplyDeleteWe wish you guys and your family a happy holiday.
Yup,50 is cool to kitties!!!
ReplyDeleteMom has our furnace turned on and we love it :)
WE hope you two get some heat soon. It's not right for kitties to feel cold :o
Happy Winter Solstice !
Purrs Mickey,Georgia & Tillie
(now bring on Spring!! heehee)
I found your blog while visiting Brian, the name intrigued me so I decided to come over for a visit. You two look like my Chloe and Cecil who are Burmese cousins. We have had some cold mornings and C&C like to crawl under the Christmas comforter and take a snooze!
ReplyDeleteShawn
Gosh, I hope you're not getting lots and lots of rain like SoCal is! You'll need to learn how to ::shudder:: dog paddle!
ReplyDeleteHi Boys! Thanks for coming by my blog! No, it definitely was NOT the Nip! My beddies really WERE all missing--the nip was an (unsuccessful) attempt to console myself :-( However, things took a turn for the better later today. I'll publish "The Rest of the Story" tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteP.S. Capitola? My Human loves Santa Cruz and Capitola and Soquel and Aptos! When she was just a little girl (back in Prehistoric Times), her grandma had a little house on Second Street in Santa Cruz right up from the wharf! The Human spent lots of summers in the 1950s & 1960s in that part of the world.
