Your Tuesday Tonkinese

Oh hai Mom! What? No I'm not up to anything. Just sitting here on the counter minding my own business.

You say you think I look suspicious? I am sure I don't know what you are talking about!

Okay okay! I admit it! I was just about ready to jump on top of the fridge and knock down the cereal boxes.
Jeez! I sure hope that Santa Paws comes soon so I can stop trying so hard to be good!

Hope all of you are being good today friends! It's not easy!

  1. Busby, you were BORN good! Those Santa rules only apply to humans, not kitties!

  13. Busby, never admit to stuff like that! It doesn't count unless you get caught after you've done it!

  14. Don't try too hard...I'm pretty sure Santa is suspicious of cats that don't knock things over...

  17. I say go ahead and jump. Santa's so busy right now, he probably wouldn't see you!

  19. Hi Busby,

You kitties always have that "expression of innocence" down perfectly! Hee! Hee! :-)

That knocking-down-cereal-boxes thing is JUST the kind of thing my kitty sister, Lemon, would like to do to annoy my humans!

You asked about Lemon - sadly, she was taken from us by a mystery sickie 2yrs ago while we were both in a pet hotel coz our humans had to go overseas to see their families. It was a terrible shock for all of us coz she was such a young, healthy kitty (we are the same age - she was 5 at the time) and it all happened so quickly - and my humans felt terrible because they couldn't even be with her (they had to go overseas for Hsin-Yi's Daddy's funeral - it was a very bad time!).

So Lemon has left a very big hole in our hearts and my humans don't really feel ready for another kitty yet - plus we have to keep moving these couple of years so they haven't been sure about getting a new kitty. We do miss having a kitty around the house, though - Hsin-Yi was always more of a doggie person but Lemon won her over! :-)

We arrived together as puppy & kitten and grew up together and were the best of friends. If you have time, you might enjoy watching this video my human made of the 2 of us growing up - it has lots of funny moments: www.bighoneydog.com/2010/01/honey-and-lemon
