Easy Sunday

Hi friends! Our friend Douglas is visiting this weekend from San Francisco. (just 90 miles to the north of here) Douglas has the nicest lap. His legs are SO much longer than our Mom's legs are, making for a very roomy lap.

Ooh Douglas, your lap is just dreamy.

Doug also brought a couple gifts for us. Smart guy, that Douglas! I may not crawl into his lap like Busby (the giant suck-up) but I do like this pink lobster he brought us.

I like this lobster but I'm not getting in just anyone's lap.

Hope you are all having a good Sunday too, full of good laps and good toys. xoxo, Raymond and Busby

  3. Cool lobster. I won't even sit in my DAD's lap, and though I will lie with Mom and snuggle, I am not much of a LAP kitty.

  4. Ooo, I should make that a Cat Rule - no guests unless they bring gifts! And even gifts do not require the cat to sit in the guest's lap.

  9. A person who brings cool cat toys is not just anyone! I can see that some of us (me, momma Ellie, Bennette and Jonesie) have been far too "easy" since we will get in guests laps. Probably because the cat to lap ratio here sucks. Laps are good and they make us purr.

  10. We are kinda standoffish when it comes to strange laps...though many of us will visit for scritchies.
Douglas is the BEST sort of guest! Kitty toys are proper offerings.

  11. Raymond, we also think that Doug is smart for bringing you a gift! You are like Kenji, he is so loyal to Mummy and Daddy that he will hide for hours under the bed if somebody else is in the house. Mummy says she can't believe that he was smoochy towards her right from the beginning at the shelter when he caught her attention because he is SO SHY! Keiko is just like Busby, she loves humans!

  18. I don't do laps, although your visitor has a nice one. Pretty nifty present, too.

I like being called Spittola! I'm going to make the Human call me that sometimes.
