Nurse Busby here. This is the face I used on Mom this morning when she was considering going to work.
You need at least one more day to recover, Mom! Now get that ice pack out and elevate that elbow. Gentle stretching exercises to begin later today.
xo, Busby Graham, Charge Nurse
Keep tough on those nursing duties!
ReplyDeleteGood Job Nurse Busby. With that face I should think mom will be home until further notice.

ReplyDeleteWow - that is a pretty serious face. We are glad you are making sure she takes it easy!!
ReplyDeleteGood job, Busby! You're just what the doctor ordered!! We hope your mom's elbow is feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteNurse Cat Zaphoid says, "Excellent work Busby!! We Siamese nurses know just what to do to help our Feeders! I suggest laying on a spot that doesn't hurt her and purring a LOT. I make sure that my mom takes her pain medicine whenever she has surgery (she had to have the same number as we have lives on her knees!!) because it's very very important when Feeders are first recovering. Just as important as the ice. Even though the ice is waaaaay too cold. Make up for it by warming up her other side. ::firm nod:: I'll make sure that the Horde keeps your mom in our purrs and that our Feeders keeps all of you in their prayers. Keep up the good work and let me know if you need me!"
ReplyDeleteWho could resist that face!
ReplyDeleteExcellent work Busby!
ReplyDeleteWe hope your Mom is doing well.
We thought of you today as Mom was running like a gerbil on that treadmill, she was watching TV and they showed the weather in Capitola!
