Thursday Garden Stroll

Hello friends! Busby here (with Raymond in the background). Are you ready to take a short stroll in our garden? Rain kept Mom from getting more than one outdoor photo today. (like she's going to melt or something!) So without further ado, let's stroll!

We thought you might want to see how our seedlings are doing. This is the Little Prince eggplant. We have started the process of "hardening" these seedlings off. That means they get to go outside on the porch during the day, so that they get used to living outdoors.

Here are our Super Bush tomatoes. They have started spending the day outdoors too. (well, not today, because it was chilly and rainy) Pretty soon when it warms up here at night, we will be transplanting these outside. They are doing great!

The lone photo Mom got of our outdoor garden is this shot of our Garden Babies butter-head lettuce. They are starting to get bigger and bigger. That is a fake George visiting the lettuce. (Very funny Mom.)

Thanks for strolling with us today, friends! Don't forget to check out our pal Jonesie's blog to see what the other SFG members are up to. Just follow the links at the bottom of Jonesie's post.

Have a pawsome Thursday! xoxo, Busby and Raymond (in the background)

  5. Your plants are doing really well! At the rate we're going here this year (well below seasonal temps), it'll be June before we get to garden!

  6. It's been so cold that we have not yet planted our seeds. There was a story on the news where the man who runs the community garden was on his 3rd round of seedlings...all of them rotted in the rain and cold. Maybe this weekend we can get some seeds in the ground.

Love your seedlings, they look so healthy. I can't believe you have nibbled them yet!

  8. Mommy would give her eyeteeth for fresh tomatoes! They do not grow here, no pollinators and too HOT.
