Thursday Garden Stroll

Hullo garden lovers! Are you ready to do a bit of strolling today? We only have a few new photos. Mom has been super busy at work. excuses excuses...

By far the brightest flower in the garden this week is this Zinnia! This is from a packet of Renee's Garden seeds called "Hot Crayon Color" Zinnias. We think it lives up to it's name!

Beautiful bright orange!

We have Hollyhocks blooming this week too. Mom didn't plant any this year, these are all volunteers from last year. Our human Aunt in Cape Cod brought us some seeds two years ago and they continue to come up. One of them is about 8 feet tall!

Our Grandmother said she used to use Hollyhock flowers to make little skirts for her clothes pin dolls when she was a little girl. WAY back in the olden days

Last but not least, the very first flowers that bloomed in our garden this season are still going strong! These Blue Ensign Morning Glories! We are loving how long these have lasted and they just keep blooming and blooming.

The bees love these!

Thanks for strolling with us today friends! Don't forget to visit all of the other gardening felines today.

xoxo, Raymond

  1. Your flowers are beautiful! Hollyhocks always remind our Mom of when she was a little girl. You know, back in the stone age.

  4. Those are stunning blooms! There's not much in our garden now, so we had to post some of the mom's floral pics from her walks to and from work!
