Hello friends! Welcome to our Thursday garden stroll. I told Mom this isn't a very good photo of me, but she insisted on using it anyway. (*sheesh!*) Oh well, are you ready to take a short stroll? Let's go!
NOT a good photo MOM. |
This is our "mystery" citrus tree. Our neighbor got it from Home Depot (For free. Don't ask.) and it was sitting next to the curb in it's black plastic pot for weeks with no one taking care of it. Finally Mom asked if we could have it. We repotted it and it is very happy in our backyard. It had no tag, so we have no idea what kind of citrus tree it is. Hope to find out soon when these flowers turn into fruit. (We'll keep you posted!)
Mystery citrus. What do you think it is? |
This is probably the last of these Blue Ensign Morning Glories until next Spring. They have lasted a long time, but now they are being overrun by the Cosmos. We will definitely plant more of these seeds next season.
So pretty! |
Bees love the Cosmos and we love the bees! Thanks for visiting our garden today! Don't forget to check ou the other Feline Gardners all over the blogosphere. |
xoxo, Raymond

My human does not know much about gardening or trees, but she thinks that might be some sort of orange tree. We had one at the old house, but it died. :-( (Not her fault, btw!)
ReplyDeleteWe don't know what kind of tree that is either, Raymond, so we'll be surprised too! And any picture of you is a nice one.
ReplyDeleteRay, we got Lemon tree, and when it has flowers, it 's pink bud but when bloom, it's white ! we guess your mystery citrus is Orange !!!
ReplyDeleteThose are really some beautiful pictures today and that mystery citrus is doing so great!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Morning Glory! And We must plant some Cosmos next summer. Maybe they will fill in where Cinnamon digged up all the flowers.

ReplyDeleteWe can't grow citrus trees here (outside anyway) so we don't know what kind of tree it is...surprises are fun anyway, right?
