Hello friends! Has this ever happened to you? Your Mom is sitting in the chair for awhile, then she gets up. The spot where she was sitting (I like to call it the "buttspot") is nice and toasty warm. You jump up and settle down in that spot. Next thing you know, there's Mom, wanting her seat back!
No, Mom. I'm NOT getting up.
Have a good Tuesday friends, and DON'T give up the buttspot!
You're right not to give up your spot! We think she should not have gotten up if she wanted to keep her spot!
ReplyDeleteYou are so right, the buttspot is the BEST spot! Busby, you look very determined to keep your spot.
ReplyDeleteNEVER give up that comfy butt spot! It does happen at our house too, fairly regularly. Nine times out of ten our human will sit elsewhere, of course. :-P
ReplyDeleteHey, you are there, she abandonded the spot. Hold your ground.
ReplyDeleteSlobbers,
Mango
we hate it when that happens
ReplyDeleteEspecially if you coordinate so nicely with the chair fabric.
ReplyDeleteYup, those buttspots are nice and warm and totally comfy!!!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are the best spots! Maybe your mom could pick you up and put you in her lap :)
ReplyDeleteWe knows exactly what you mean! Saying around here is "On your feet, loose your seat!" and we means it. Specially mommy's office chair and daddy's dinner chair.
ReplyDeleteHas a great day guys!
Ashton is known for appearing out of nowhere. He looks like he's been their forever too ...
ReplyDeleteIt's a rule at my house..do not disturb the cats !!!
Love your photo, gorgeous, silly Bus!...Yes, the buttspot is always good to claim as your own!...Thanks for visiting while our Mom was out of town and for the kind comments on our blog today...We have missed visiting with you handsome boys and send you both kisses x3...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteLOL, that happens all the time at my house!
ReplyDeleteCat Rule #241: When a human gets up from the sofa or a comfy chair, the cat is entitled to said spot and is not required to relinquish it when the human returns.
ReplyDeleteGrayce is a nortorious buttspotter!
ReplyDeleteIt could be way worse. My sis Oblivia claims my mom's chair at the table and sometimes she gets sat on! Not on purpose, but you know. She should know better not to sit there!
ReplyDeleteStand your ground, Busby! Possession is 9 parts of the law.
ReplyDeleteWe get moved over all the time.
ReplyDeleteOh no...she got up...that buttspot is fair game...hang tough, Busby!
ReplyDeleteThat spot is clearly yours...she abandoned it! Stay put...maybe you can sell the spot for a pound of ham, or some nice cheese?
ReplyDeleteAlfie Marshall does this ALL the time. He's always hogging mom's chair!
