Your Tuesday Tonkinese

Hello friends! Has this ever happened to you? Your Mom is sitting in the chair for awhile, then she gets up. The spot where she was sitting (I like to call it the "buttspot") is nice and toasty warm. You jump up and settle down in that spot. Next thing you know, there's Mom, wanting her seat back!
No, Mom. I'm NOT getting up.
Have a good Tuesday friends, and DON'T give up the buttspot!

  1. You're right not to give up your spot! We think she should not have gotten up if she wanted to keep her spot!

  3. NEVER give up that comfy butt spot! It does happen at our house too, fairly regularly. Nine times out of ten our human will sit elsewhere, of course. :-P

  8. We knows exactly what you mean! Saying around here is "On your feet, loose your seat!" and we means it. Specially mommy's office chair and daddy's dinner chair.
    Has a great day guys!

  12. Cat Rule #241: When a human gets up from the sofa or a comfy chair, the cat is entitled to said spot and is not required to relinquish it when the human returns.

  14. It could be way worse. My sis Oblivia claims my mom's chair at the table and sometimes she gets sat on! Not on purpose, but you know. She should know better not to sit there!
