Sad Sunday

Busby and I join the rest of our friends on the blogosphere in mourning the loss of our young friend Yuu-Chan.

Our Mom was reminded of Shakespeare's words:

"Good night, sweet prince! And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."

A special thank-you to The Poupounette's #1, for sharing her beautiful family with us. We love you.

  1. Thank you so much , dear friends. Every kind thought from a friend lessens the pain a little bit for us.

And those lines from Hamlet are so well-suited to Yuu-Chan. We shall use them in the post we will do about him.

  2. I was so sad to hear about Yuu-Chan too. He seemed like such a lively, curious little guy - far, far too young to have to go through what he did.

  4. Mum can't believe what she just read to us from today's post at the Poupounette - she is trying to type with tears stopping her seeing properly - such a young boy kitty.

  5. We were so sad when we read about sweet Yuu-Chan.

We're still searching for a cancer research foundation. Since the general ones mostly put their funds to research for dogs, we're hoping to find one just for cats. There is so little research being done for felines.

  7. The news about Yuu-Chan shocked us! We are so sad! He was much too young to leave us. We send comforting purrs to #1 and the rest of his family who are missing him so very much.

  9. Yuu-Chan was an untterly sweet and fun boy and we too mourn his loss. It's a shame he had to go so soon.

Give us a meow, or a purr or a headbutt. No hisses please!
