Hello friends! Busby and I are having a nice, easy Sunday. I even found a great sunny spot on the bed.
Our Moms took a walk down to the beach and took this photo of the clouds over Monterey Bay. If you look REALLY close you can see the dusting of snow in the Santa Lucia mountains south of our house.
Even though we have been having record cold temperatures, there was a Magnolia tree starting to bloom on their walk home. Spring is just around the corner!
Have a great Sunday friends! xo, Raymond
Sunny spots are the best snoozing spots

My human was hoping she would get some snow here, but no dice. It did fall in some parts of L.A. near us, but not here. Trust me, I was not unhappy about that!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful magnolias. I truly love seeing them like that. It's very cold here too so we're stayin in and stayin warm.

I am happy to see the pretty flowers showing their faces near your estate. Could it be that spring is almost here?

Snow in California. Who would have thought?
ReplyDeleteQuite some contrasts - snow vs Magnolia blossoms. Happy Sunday.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty!
ReplyDeleteWow...it really is cold there. So unusual but so pretty too. And how happy it must make all the little children to see snow!
You guys have a great spot to stay until it gets warm!
Happy Sunday!
Ann
Yay, signs of spring! We got snow here on Thursday morning, but it disappeared before the end of the day. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteThe Human was pretty bummed about the snowlessness of the past couple days.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very pretty magnolia. What she remembers especially from her childhood is lots and lots of fuschias in Capitola and Santa Cruz--her Grandma called them little ballerinas! Me, I only wonder if they tasted good. Hope you all have a sleepy Sunday!
Beautiful signs of spring fur sure!!!
ReplyDeleteOh Ray it must be cold there...wow!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous picture of the beach.
And the magnolias will be beautiful soon.
Enjoy your Sunday.

We're glad you two found a sunny spot since you are having such cold weather...for you. That blooming magnolia is very pretty!!
ReplyDeleteWe got more snow yesterday. We wish/hope that spring is just around the corner.
ReplyDeleteOoooooo!! Nice to see things blooming!! It will be a while before we see blooms, but we know the time is getting closer :) At least we hope, heehee
ReplyDeleteMom likes the beach shot!! She is looking forward to getting to the beach(when it's warmer) so she can take more pics, Enjoy that sunshine!!!!!

P.S. Uh-oh boys, me and the Human just readed about the broken-up elbow of your Mom's! Do you think she can just get a new one? That's what the Humans seem to do whenever anything breaks, like a microwave. But maybe it's just chipped or something? I think we have some super glue around someplace. Hmmmm.
ReplyDeleteWe are sorry if it hurts though. You better purr on her real good, and a little cuddling might be good, too.
Mommy says you all live in such a beautiful area!
ReplyDeleteUm, did we wish your broken Mom "Get Well Soon"? Our Mommy is still a little hazy...
Cold weather in California? These are strange times indeed. But that magnolia tree promises better days ahead.
ReplyDeleteSpring is coming ... hooray!
ReplyDeleteCold weather in CA, and 70 degrees in western NC where its supposed to be cold right now! Go figure. (I'm not complaining though... )
