Easy (and cold!) Sunday

Hello friends! Busby and I are having a nice, easy Sunday. I even found a great sunny spot on the bed.

Our Moms took a walk down to the beach and took this photo of the clouds over Monterey Bay. If you look REALLY close you can see the dusting of snow in the Santa Lucia mountains south of our house.

Even though we have been having record cold temperatures, there was a Magnolia tree starting to bloom on their walk home. Spring is just around the corner!

Have a great Sunday friends! xo, Raymond

  2. My human was hoping she would get some snow here, but no dice. It did fall in some parts of L.A. near us, but not here. Trust me, I was not unhappy about that!

  6. I am happy to see the pretty flowers showing their faces near your estate. Could it be that spring is almost here?

  9. So pretty!
Wow...it really is cold there. So unusual but so pretty too. And how happy it must make all the little children to see snow!
You guys have a great spot to stay until it gets warm!
    Happy Sunday!

  10. Yay, signs of spring! We got snow here on Thursday morning, but it disappeared before the end of the day. Sigh.

  11. The Human was pretty bummed about the snowlessness of the past couple days.

That's a very pretty magnolia. What she remembers especially from her childhood is lots and lots of fuschias in Capitola and Santa Cruz--her Grandma called them little ballerinas! Me, I only wonder if they tasted good. Hope you all have a sleepy Sunday!

And the magnolias will be beautiful soon.

  16. P.S. Uh-oh boys, me and the Human just readed about the broken-up elbow of your Mom's! Do you think she can just get a new one? That's what the Humans seem to do whenever anything breaks, like a microwave. But maybe it's just chipped or something? I think we have some super glue around someplace. Hmmmm.
We are sorry if it hurts though. You better purr on her real good, and a little cuddling might be good, too.

  17. Mommy says you all live in such a beautiful area!
Um, did we wish your broken Mom "Get Well Soon"? Our Mommy is still a little hazy...

  18. Cold weather in California? These are strange times indeed. But that magnolia tree promises better days ahead.

  19. Cold weather in CA, and 70 degrees in western NC where its supposed to be cold right now! Go figure. (I'm not complaining though... )
