Halloween!

BOO! No, we haven't turned into skeleton cats! This is a tile that we have on our Dia de Los Muertos altar. It actually represents Toot and Alex, our old geezer sister and brother cats who came before us. 


Mom is supposed to have surgery this week, so we are going to be blogging sporadically. We know, spooky, right? We hope you all have a great Halloween and aren't too freaked out by the doorbell ringing like we are. We will likely spend the night under the bed.

Our Blogoversary!

Hello friends! Yes, it's our Blogoversary today and not only did our Mom FORGET but she doesn't help us post on weekends so we have no post today!

Add to that she and our non-blog Mom are out of town & all she has with her is the dumb iPad from which no photos can be up-loaded to blogger and we have a PERFECT STORM of INEPTITUDE on our blog Mom's part. Sheesh!

Friday 'Tocks-with a special guest!

We thought we would end the week with this 'tocks-in-motion shot of Mister Peabody. Mister Pea is the woofie who belongs to Renee Shepherd, our blog Mom's boss. He likes a good roll in the grass every now and then. 

Have an excellent weekend friends! Our Moms are abandoning us to go to a fancy wedding in San Francisco. We will be spending the weekend sleeping like we usually do guarding the house against the introoder cat.

Teeth on Thursday (and a mini garden stroll)

Hullo friends! I thought you might enjoy this shot of my shiny black lips and my pointy white teeths. I looking up at Mom wondering WHY she keeps giving our foodables to that stinking Introoder cat. He was waiting for her on OUR porch when she got home from work yesterday. Sheesh!

We'd better not run out of food on account of that introoder cat. That's all I'm sayin'.

In other, more cheery-er news, our Zinnias are still blooming! This one particularly caught our eye, we love the color. We'll definitely be planting more Zinnia seeds next Spring.

Your Tuesday Tonkinese TWOFUR!

Well we don't know whether it was our MOM, Blogger or the new iPad that caused us to NOT be able to publish photos yesterday. The good part is that today we are publishing TWO photos of ME to make up for our lapse. 

Here I am, looking very Mancatly by our front door. 

The Introoder cat has been around all weekend. Now he waits for my Mom to feed him in the morning. He waits on our FRONT PORCH! I have to keep an eye on him. 

Introoder cat, why do you have to eat all of OUR foodables?

On a purrsonal note, Mom has to have some surgery the first week of November. Nothing major, but she will be out of commission for a bit. She's been a bit crazier than usual lately, she has to have a few tests run and doctor appointments before the surgery. So if we miss a day or two here or there, don't worry about us.

Hi friends! mom tried to write our post with her rinky dink computer and look, NO photos! Oh, she had a photo, a NEW one even, but couldn't get it uploaded. Ugh!

Happy BELATED birthday to US!

By now you may have heard that our MOMs (BOTH of them) FORGOT our birthday was yesterday! Yep, we turned seven yesterday and our BlogMom didn't realize it until she was on her way out the door to go to work. Then she was all "Oh, sorry boys! I'll give you extra treats when I get home this evening." Whatever Mom. 

Anyway, we're posting photos of when we were little kitten boys with our Mom Nell and our brother (who lives in LA now) Leo.

Can you tell which one is Raymond?

Ray was the runt of the litter so he always got the last spot at the milk bar!

That's Busby in the middle, his eyes give him away. 

How lucky are we that we get to spend our lives together? (even if we do live in a home where they forget your birthday...)

Tocks on Thursday

It's Autumn and the garden isn't doing much. Since it's TOCKtober we thought we would start doing "Tocks on Thursday" for awhile. Here's a nice shot of my fine, manly tocks. 

In other news, Mom feels pretty embarrassed that she hasn't helped us cruise the blogosphere lately. We won't list her excuses, but she has quite a few. Please know that we love you all and will try to be better friends when things calm down around here.

Mancat Monday - Special Guest edition!

See this Mancat? He's the introoder cat who is always walking through our yard, sleeping in our carport, looking in our front screen door and basically BUGGING Busby and me. (well, mostly ME. Busby doesn't much care about introoder cats.) We noticed he has his manbits intact, and he keeps getting into fights in the neighborhood. He has a big scratch on his nose, you can't see it in this photo because he has his nose in the stinky goodness our MOMS are feeding him. 

This guy is pretty skinny and nobody takes care of him so now (for some reason) our Moms have started to feed him and talk sweetly to him. He NAPPED on our FRONT PORCH all day today! I don't care for it one bit. I put on my Flatbat ears and stare at him. He bugs me. Mom says that eventually  he will go to the SPCA where they can fix him (is he broken?) and where hopefully they will find a good home for him. Our local SPCA is a no-kill shelter, so Mom thinks it would be best to get this guy off the streets and into a shelter before the weather gets more Wintery. 


Meanwhile I am going to try to stop worrying about this introoder cat moving in with Busby and Me. I guess I am lucky that my Mom-cat was rescued before I was born on the street and had to live outside like this guy does.

Thursday Garden Stroll

Hello friends! We know it's Thursday and we should be strolling, but it is chilly and rainy here and so we are snoozing and snuggling instead. 

Okay, okay, we'll stroll a bit. Let's go!

See these palm trees? These are just up the street from us. We wanted you to see how cloudy and blah the weather is here today. Do you feel sorry for us? Probably not, since most of you will be having snow soon and we will be having no snow here by the beach...

These palm trees are how our Moms give directions to our house. "Turn left at the three palm trees..."

We have ONE actual garden photo this week. Mom took this shot of our Zinnias before she did some serious pruning pre-storm. There are still a lot of buds, so hopefully we will get some more pretty Zinnia blooms before the end of the year.
